How to remove your name from the roll?

If you choose not to keep your name on the roll you would no longer be a member of the Law Society and you would need to refer to yourself as a former solicitor. If in the future you decided to come back on to the roll you would need to complete the application to restore your name to the roll (KR4). The form can be obtained from The Contact Centre. The fee is currently £20.00.
