How to keep your name on the roll?

Every year SRA will send you a solicitor annual enrolment application (KR1) and ask if you wish to remain on the roll. The fee is currently £20 per year. You must ensure that we have your up to date address in order for us to send the KR1 to the correct address. The benefits of keeping your name on the roll are:

  1. reduced Gazette subscription
  2. membership of the Law Society,
  3. continued Council member voting rights,
  4. use of the Chancery Lane library and restaurant/bar,
  5. entitlement to call yourself a "non-practising" solicitor,
  6. discounted prices on financial and insurance products. Please see www.sra.org.uk for further details.
